So right now, there’s a HUGE hole in the middle of the road leading from my school to my home, and what should only be a 3 minute walk has become a 15 minute hike through steep, soft patches of loose dirt with the construction going on literally about 2 feet away from me. They haven’t finished the overpass/walkway (which they haven’t worked for a few months) and it looks like it (the bridge and/or the construction) won’t be finished anytime soon. This wouldn’t be so bad if they at least made a separate walkway for the pedestrians, but not only is this annoying and dangerous, it looks like it’s gonna be raining for a while in a couple of days, so by then, I’ll be walking through MUDDY, steep, soft patches of loose dirt. On the plus side, they stopped doing construction work at midnight, so I can at least sleep at night, but who knows how long this will last.
Anyways, I keep on forgetting to take a picture of the hole, so here’s an artist’s rendition of how it looks.
